THE VALLEE BLANCHE

For your ease and comfort, transport to and from the Aiguille du Midi cable car is provided by the ski school free of charge. Ski in the heart of some of the most prestigious mountains. (theMont Blanc,Grandes Jorasses, Aiguille Verte, etcŠ) Looking for something a bit more adventurous ?

The French Ski School of Les Houches, in association with the Chamonix Mountain Guides Office, will take you to the world famous Vallee Blanche. A breathtaking descent of more than 20 kilometres down the « Mer de Glace » glacier.
A day out in the heart of the Mont Blanc mountains. Access to the « Vallee Blanche » is by the Aiguille du Midi cable car and from there follows the fabulous off-piste glacier descent down to Chamonix itself ­ snow conditions permitting, or if not then as far as the Mer de Glace ice caves ­ with the remaining part to Chamonix by the funicular Montenvers railway. This is not just for expert skiers ­ if you are a good confident skier, in good physical condition and looking for a challenge, this need not be just a dream but a real experience for you.

With a mountain guide, you can join a group or come with your own private group. ( 1 mountain guide for a maximum of 8 people)
Bring your picnic, or stop at the Requin mountain hut for lunch.
